TIMBER SUPPLY AREAS (TSAs) account for approximately 70 percent of the total cut in BC each year. Below are the records of the volume cut in each TSA from 2010 onwards, the associated forest carbon release, and the cost of that release had it been taxed at the same rate that emissions from hydrocarbons are taxed through the BC Carbon Tax.
