TREE FARM LICENCES (TFLs) account for approximately 30 percent of the total cut in BC each year. Below are the records of the volume cut in each TFL from 2010 onwards, the associated forest carbon release, and the cost of that release had it been taxed at the same rate that emissions from hydrocarbons are taxed through the BC Carbon Tax.
