Named watersheds of BC

The map below shows named watersheds (semi-transparent background colours), lakes (solid darker blue), wetlands (light green) and streams (lighter blue). The base map is a satellite image that shows where logging has occurred (there is a 2-3 year lag).

You can find more information about each watershed by clicking on the semi-transparent background colours. In the window that appears, click on the square icon in the shaded grey bar at the top of the window. An expanded window will appear showing the size of the watershed and the series of watersheds that it is part of.

Use the + or - buttons to zoom in and out. You can pan around the map by clicking and dragging it.
