The solutions to the problems caused by over-exploitation of BC forests aren’t complicated. We need to reduce the amount of logging and permanently protect a greater percentage of forested public land. To get there, we must work to create a new relationship between the public and forests that’s built on a deeper understanding of all the essential ecological services forests provide.
